Well hello!! My names Kristin and I started this blog for a few reasons. One being we just recently acquired (after years of searching) a 1960 Aloha Trailer. Its 12″ inside, its adorable, and it needed to be completely gutted (sad trombone) but that is giving us the freedom to build our dream trailer from scratch in our back yard in Ogden, Utah.
This blog will serve as my place to bounce ideas, explore design, post tutorials and advice, share our progress and frustrations, and share inspiration about vintage trailers! If you love them as much as I do, I think you’ll enjoy it!
Hi Kristin, I just found your blog and am excited to follow along as you restore the Aloha. My hubby and I recently bought a 1970 Aristocrat trailer and are in the “dreaming” / planning phase of our restoration. I’m finding Pinterest super handy for visually exploring the design elements–upholstery fabrics, color scheme, era decor, etc–and already pinned a couple things from your blog.
